Yui's Story

Yui's Chronicle is a story set in the near-ish future of the 2300s. It is a story about a humanity that had just won a pyrrhic victory. They had won against an alien invasion but at the cost of a broken Earth. In fear of extinction, humanity started to resort to more and more extreme actions. Kill all the Thraxos. Subsume all of humanity under a military dictatorship. Mandate all children to enroll in military school upon reaching fifteen of age. With the mantra of 'for survival', everything is justified. Humanity is now on the path of becoming an empire that mirrors the worsts of its history. Perhaps it will even exceed them.

Soul of an Empire

She's compelled to master the intricacies of orbital mechanics, so she can hit a target from billions of kilometers away; to be able to take apart and assemble all the weapons, so she may use their full destructive potential in the battlefield; and to study the commanders of old and their battles, so she can learn to avoid their pitfalls and be better.

Her entire life has been about her destined role as the next great leader of humanity. There's just one problem: she doesn't want the job.

When Yui escapes from the Fleet, she inadvertently triggers a series of events that push humanity to the brink of war.

Soul of a Republic

It has been a year since Fleet Admiral Xin made the speech denouncing the regime. The Sol Fleet is now on a path to reform; to become a republic embodying the principles of Old Earth. The path to change, however, is seldom without violence. The anti-republican movement has been fighting against the formation of the Republic. So far, they have limited themselves to small-scale sabotages and protests, but it takes only a single spark to escalate this covert war to a full-blown civil war.
